This policy explains what information TabulaKit collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies when you create an account and use our services.

1. Who we are

TabulaKit (“TabulaKit”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an AI-assisted website building service. This policy covers the information we handle when you use that service. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. The email address you sign up with, and basic details needed to run your account.
  • Billing information. When you subscribe, payment is handled by our processor, Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details; we receive confirmation of your subscription and limited billing information, but we do not store your full card number.
  • Your content. The text, files, and other material you create, upload, or publish through your workspace, along with the instructions you give the assistant.
  • Usage information. Basic technical and usage data — such as activity in your workspace and general logs — that helps us run, secure, and improve the service.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the service;
  • run the AI assistant so it can build and edit your sites at your direction;
  • process payments and manage your subscription;
  • secure our systems, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms; and
  • contact you about your account, including service and billing messages.

4. AI processing

TabulaKit’s AI runs on Amazon Bedrock, Amazon’s enterprise AI platform. This means the content and instructions you send to the assistant are processed within Amazon’s secure cloud rather than being handed to a separate outside AI company. Your content is not used to train AI models.

5. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run TabulaKit, and only as needed to provide the service:

  • Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Bedrock, for hosting and AI processing;
  • Stripe, for payment processing; and
  • other providers that support hosting, security, and operations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Publishing and public content

When you publish a site openly, the content on it becomes publicly available on the internet, and anything you include there is no longer private. You choose whether a published site is open to everyone or limited to specific people by email.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After an account closes, we may retain certain information for a reasonable period to meet legal, security, or operational needs, and then delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including authenticated access so that only people with credentials you have granted can reach your content. No system is perfectly secure, so keeping your login details safe and managing who you invite is an important part of protecting your account. See our note on this in the Terms & Conditions.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as accessing, correcting, or deleting it. You can also close your account at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and keep the service working. We do not use them to build advertising profiles of you.

11. Children

TabulaKit is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who is not old enough to hold an account in their location.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, and we will update the date at the top of this page.
