The ten-day trial
The trial runs for ten days and needs a card on file. Nothing is charged while it runs. It carries one dram of ink, includes every add-on plugin, and holds the same two seats Standard does.
On day ten your account converts to a $49 Standard account. If you upgrade to Pro within that first month the balance is pro-rated.

Ink, drams, and the inkwell
The AI work inside your workspace runs on ink. Ink is measured in drams, and your balance of it is your inkwell. Every AI action draws from the inkwell — more work, more drams — and your subscription refills it every month with the allowance for your plan.
- Unspent monthly drams roll over, up to the size of your inkwell. A light month builds a reserve that smooths a heavy one. Once the inkwell is full, further monthly drams stop banking.
- Top up any time at $15 a dram. Drams you buy never expire and are not held to the inkwell’s limit, so you can stock up freely.
- Monthly drams are spent first, so the balance that has a limit draws down before the one that does not.
- Auto top-up is on by default, and your inkwell is visible in the workspace long before it matters. Turn it off and run out, and the turn you are on finishes before AI work pauses. There is never a surprise bill and never a failure mid-job.
- A published site never goes dark for a low balance. Ink pays for AI work, not for hosting.

Seats
A seat is a specific person who can enter your workspace to do work. Standard has two seats, perfect for a small business or a married couple. Pro starts with two seats, and more can be added for $25 per month.
Publishing a site allows you to share the work done by people in the seats to the world, a specific list of users, or an entire domain.
Plugins
Plugins are tools that enhance your workspace: a contact manager, a data room, a time tracker, and a planning board. All plugins are included with a Pro subscription, and can be purchased as needed with a Standard subscription. Plugins are included with the free trial so you can see how they work.
